Riyadh – Mubasher: The Securities Depository Center Company, widely recognized in the Saudi financial markets as Edaa, recently announced the successful implementation of a corporate action regarding the securities of Atlas Elevators General Trading and Contracting Company.
The measure involves a formal increase in the quantity of securities held within the accounts of eligible shareholders through the update to the depository system that was finalized on 23 June 2026.
It further marks a significant administrative milestone for Atlas Elevators’ capital structure after implementing this technical procedure that occurs after a listed company receives the necessary approvals for a capital change, such as a bonus share issue or a rights offering.
As of 21 June, the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) implemented standard technical adjustments to the stock’s trading parameters upon a revised reference of SAR 9.99 per share.
The implementation of this securities quantity increase follows the standard regulatory protocols required for listed entities when they undergo capital adjustments. By updating the Center’s Accounts, Edaa ensures that the electronic records of all eligible investors accurately reflect their new holdings, thereby maintaining transparency and trust within the capital market.
Meanwhile, the completion of this deposit process means that the additional shares are now fully integrated into the holders' accounts and are available for trading or other investment activities in accordance with market regulations.
Eligibility for this increase is determined based on the shareholders of record at the time of the corporate action's effective date.
Edaa’s systems are designed to automatically calculate and distribute these securities to ensure that every qualifying investor receives their proportional entitlement without the need for manual intervention. This automated approach is a cornerstone of the Saudi capital market’s infrastructure, designed to align with international best practices in securities settlement and depository services.
