Riyadh – Mubasher: Anmat Technology Trading Company announced that its Board of Directors approved resolution to appoint Mohammed Al Bardawil as a temporary member of the company’s Audit Committee.

The appointment was finalized via a circulation vote on 1 July 2026, according to a bourse discosure.

Appointing Al Bardawil is intended to fill a vacant seat and ensure the committee continues to fulfill its regulatory oversight duties for the remainder of its current term.

The decision by the Board of Directors aligns with the internal regulations governing the Audit Committee’s operations.

While the appointment is immediate to ensure the continuity of the committee’s functions, the company noted that the decision remains subject to formal ratification by the shareholders during the next General Assembly meeting.

Al Bardawil brings extensive technical expertise to Anmat Technology’s oversight body. He holds a Master’s degree in Financial Management and Accounting from the University of Bedfordshire in the United Kingdom, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Prince Sultan University.

Prior to joining the committee at Anmat Technology, Al Bardawil held several senior leadership positions within the professional services sector. Most notably, he served as an Audit Director and Senior Auditor at Ernst & Young (EY), one of the "Big Four" global accounting firms. His career has been characterized by a focus on auditing both listed and non-listed entities, with a specific emphasis on the preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

In addition to his financial reporting background, the new appointee possesses specialized experience in internal control systems, risk management, and ensuring adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements.

The company clarified that this move was necessitated by the need to fill a vacancy on the committee.

By appointing a temporary member to complete the current term, the Board aims to maintain the committee’s quorum and its ability to exercise its powers in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations issued by the Capital Market Authority (CMA) and the Companies Law.

It is worth noting that Omar Ali Al Bardweel, who was the Chairman of Anmat Technology’s Audit Committee, passed away on 10 June 2026.
