Riyadh — Mubasher: Dar Almarkabah for Renting Cars Company (DS Rent) disclosed the resignation of Ahmed Abdulmohsen Alsadoon from the audit committee.

The member resignation is effective 16 July 2026, while Alsadoon originally joined the committee on 22 May 2024, according to a bourse disclosure.

The Audit Committee member submitted his resignation citing the weak implementation of corporate governance procedures within the company.

DS Rent stated it will appoint a replacement to fill the vacancy in accordance with regulatory requirements, which mandate a minimum of three members for the audit committee.

The company confirmed that the name of the new appointee will be disclosed at a later date following the completion of standard procedures and compliance with relevant instructions.

It is worth noting that DS Rent’s shareholders lately rejected board discharge while approving other agenda items during the general assembly held in early July 2026.
