Riyadh — Mubasher: Dar Almarkabah for Renting Cars Company (DS Rent) stated that Khalid Muqbil Al Muqbil has resigned from the audit committee as of 16 July 2026.

Al Muqbil first joined the committee on 22 May 2024, according to a bourse disclosure.

The resigned member cited the weak implementation of corporate governance procedures within the company as the reason for his departure.

The company stated it will appoint a replacement to fill the vacant seat in accordance with regulatory requirements, which mandate a minimum of three members for the audit committee.

The name of the new appointee will be disclosed at a later date following the completion of standard procedures.

It is worth noting that Al Muqbil’s resignation comes after DS Rent disclosed that another member Alsadoon resigned from the Audit Committee for the same reason.
