Riyadh - Mubasher: The board of Tourism Enterprise Company (Shams) has appointed Nasser bin Khalaf Al Barrak as the Chairman.

The decision, made on 17 July 2026, also included the appointment of Majed bin Nawar Al Otaibi as Vice Chairman and Managing Director.

The appointments follow the Ordinary General Meeting (OGM) held on 16 July 2026, which elected the board for a new four-year term. This session commenced on 17 July and is scheduled to conclude on 16 July 2030.

The board further approved the formation of several key committees. The Nominations and Remunerations Committee will be chaired by Khalid bin Mohammed Al Ghazlan, while the Development and Investment Committee will be led by Majed bin Nawar Al Otaibi.

An Audit Committee was also established on 20 July 2026, with further details to be disclosed in a separate announcement.

Additionally, the company appointed a Board Secretary and designated representatives to manage regulatory requirements with the Capital Market Authority (CMA), the Saudi Tadawul, and the Securities Depository Center Company (Edaa).

These governance appointments are effective for the duration of the current board cycle.
