The board of directors discussed the topics listed on the agenda in its meeting no. 6 held on 23/07/2026 and passed the following resolutions.

Appointment of new Chief Financial Officer

 

The Board of Directors hereby informs its shareholders, investors and analysts, that the current Chief Financial Officer Marcelo De Paola is moving back to his home country and leaving his position at Oman Cables, accordingly the Board of Directors in its meeting held on Thursday 23 July 2026 appointed Cleber da Silva to be the new Chief Financial Officer of the Company.

 

The joining date of the new Chief Financial Officer Cleber da Silva will be upon the completion of the required procedures associated with concerned authorities. Until the joining date, which will be disclosed in due course, Marcelo De Paola will continue in his role as Chief Financial Officer. 

 

Cleber da Silva is coming from his recent position as Prysmian Group´s Chief Financial Officer in China and was previously assigned as Prysmian Group’s Chief Financial Officer for Brazil, covering various financial duties, financial planning and controlling, accounting, as well as business support.

 

Cleber da Silva has an extensive international executive experience with more than 20 years of progressive leadership experience across Finance, Controlling, Accounting, Treasury, FP&A and Strategic Planning within large multinational organizations, including Louis Dreyfus Company, Parmalat Brazil, General Cable and Prysmian. Da Silva is a driven strategic business partner with proven expertise in value creation, profitable growth, manufacturing finance, capital efficiency, treasury, governance and risk management.

 

Cleber da Silva has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Centro Universitario FEI in Brazil, and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Universidade Paulista UNIP in Brazil.

 

The Board of Directors, on behalf of the Company, would like to express the appreciation to Marcelo De Paola for his significant contribution, services and achievements during his tenure and wishes hem continuous success in his future endeavors.
