Riyadh -Mubasher: Saudi Ceramic Company (Saudi Ceramics) generated 68.15% year-on-year (YoY) lower net profits at SAR 42.66 million in the first half (H1) of 2026, versus SAR 133.92 million.

The company attributed the decline to non-recurring items in the previous year's results, which included a SAR 120 million insurance claim settlement.

For the second quarter (Q2) of 2026, the net profit reached SAR 20.24 million, down 82.06% from SAR 112.80 million in the corresponding quarter of 2025.

Despite the drop in bottom-line figures, quarterly revenue rose by 30.24% to SAR 377.85 million, driven by higher sales volumes for tiles and water heaters.

Domestic sales grew by SAR 81.40 million, while export sales increased by SAR 6.30 million.

The company noted that excluding non-recurring items, adjusted net profit for the second quarter would have shown an increase of SAR 38.90 million.

This underlying improvement was supported by gross profit margins expanding to 33.20% from 24.60% a year earlier, following production efficiency initiatives and cost optimization.

Earnings per share (EPS) hit SAR 0.43 at the end of June 2026, compared to SAR 1.34 in the previous year.

In Q1-26, Saudi Ceramics logged net profits valued at SAR 22.41 million, an annual rise of 6.14% from SAR 21.12 million.
