Oman Telecommunications Company SAOG (“Omantel”) wishes to announce that Mobile Telecommunications Company K.S.C.P. (‘Zain’) issued a disclosure stating that its Board of Directors met on Monday, 10 August 2026 at 2:00 PM, to discuss and approve the consolidated financial statements for the second quarter of 2026 and to discuss dividend distribution.

(‘Zain’) Board approved Q2 2026 consolidated financial statements and declared an exceptional interim cash dividends of 17 fils per share compared to cash dividends of 10 fils distributed on 2025. With a record date of 1 October 2026.

Based on Omantel's shareholding in Zain, the additional dividend of 7 fils per share is expected to result in dividend income of approximately RO 8.223 million. Accordingly, the total interim dividend receivable by Omantel, including the regular interim dividend of 10 fils per share, is expected to amount to approximately RO 19.971 million for the year 2026 (2025: RO 11.960 million).
