Riyadh – Mubasher: BAAN Holding Group received a formal license from the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah on 5 August 2026 to provide services for overseas pilgrims.
The authorization is valid for a duration of five years, extending through the end of the 1452 Hajj season, and remains renewable under applicable regulations.
The license enables the company to organize and operate integrated solutions for international pilgrims, including coordination with accredited service providers. This strategic move aligns with the company’s plans to diversify its operational activities and expand within sectors linked to the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 initiatives.
BAAN Holding intends to leverage its five decades of experience in the hospitality, hotel, and catering sectors to establish sustainable operational income streams.
While the company expects the license to enhance its presence in the pilgrimage services ecosystem, it stated that the financial impact cannot be accurately determined at this stage. The final impact will depend on the volume of operational business generated by the new activity.
The company is currently finalizing the necessary operational arrangements to commence services under the new license. No related parties were involved in this development.
In the first half (H1) of 2026, the group turned profitable at SAR 53.32 million against net losses of SAR 16.65 million in H1-25.
