CMA approves public offering of Riyadh MENA Equity Fund
Capital Market Authority (CMA)

Riyadh — Mubasher: The Capital Market Authority (CMA) of Saudi Arabia announced on 13 August 2026 that it has granted approval to Riyadh Capital for the public offering of units in the Riyadh MENA Equity Fund.

The regulatory nod allows the fund manager to proceed with the issuance following the fulfillment of all legal and regulatory requirements under the Capital Market Law and its executive regulations, according to an official statement.

The CMA emphasized that its approval should not be construed as a recommendation or an endorsement of the fund's investment feasibility.

Instead, the regulator noted that the decision signifies that the fund has met the necessary disclosure and procedural standards required for a public offering in the Kingdom.

Prospective investors are advised to review the fund’s terms and conditions, which contain detailed information regarding the investment strategy and associated risk factors.

The CMA stated that studying these documents is essential for assessing the risks and benefits of the investment.

Moreover, if the terms and conditions are not fully understood, the regulator recommends that investors consult the fund manager for further clarification before committing capital.
