Riyadh — Mubasher: Nama Chemicals Company announced the results of its ordinary general meeting (OGM) held on 7 September 2026, where shareholders approved the appointment of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh & Co. as the company’s external auditor.
The firm will audit financial statements for the second quarter (Q2) as well as Q3 and Q4 of 2026, the full fiscal year 2026, and Q1-27 for a fee of SAR 1.16 million, excluding VAT. The appointment received 81.97% of the votes, while Ibrahim Ahmed Al-Bassam & Co. received 10.55%.
The meeting, which was held virtually from the company's headquarters in Jubail Industrial City, reached a quorum of 16.56% during its second session. Shareholders also ratified the board's decision to appoint Meshal bin Abdulrahman Al-Raqeeb as an independent director.
His term began on 11 December 2025 and will continue until the current board cycle concludes on 16 February 2029. This appointment was approved by 98.70% of the voting shares.
The board member replaces former independent director Mohammed Iqbal Radwan Daboul.
